Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Elevot collects, uses, stores, protects, and deletes information when you use the Elevot app, website, rooms, drops, messaging, reporting, account, and support features.
1. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your account data, contact us at getelevot@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Elevot, we may collect and process:
- Account information: email address, password hash, verification status, account state, roles, and account deletion status.
- Profile information: username, name, bio, avatar, privacy settings, status, and profile visibility information.
- User content: rooms, room titles, photos, videos, captions, covers, drops, messages, and other content you choose to upload or share.
- Messaging information: conversations, message content, message media, conversation participants, read state, and message timestamps.
- Social and safety actions: follows, follow requests, blocks, room access requests, invites, likes, reports, moderation status, and related timestamps.
- Device and session information: device identifiers, platform, app version, locale, user agent, IP address, refresh tokens, and login/session metadata.
- Support information: information you send when contacting support, requesting account deletion, reporting an issue, or asking for help.
- Diagnostics and logs: technical logs, server logs, error information, and security events used to operate and protect the service.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create, verify, secure, and manage accounts.
- Operate rooms, drops, profiles, messaging, media upload, visibility, and notification features.
- Show user-generated content according to room, profile, and visibility settings.
- Prevent abuse, spam, fraud, unauthorized access, and unsafe behavior.
- Review reports, enforce our Terms, investigate safety concerns, and support moderation decisions.
- Respond to support, privacy, account recovery, and account deletion requests.
- Maintain, debug, improve, and protect Elevot.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, security, and operational obligations.
4. User-generated content and visibility
Elevot is built around rooms, drops, photos, videos, captions, profiles, and messages. Content you share may be visible to other users depending on the room type, room access settings, profile settings, participant status, and other app controls. You should only share content that you are comfortable making available under the selected visibility settings.
5. Messaging
Elevot may process direct messages and conversation metadata so users can communicate inside the app. Messages may be retained for app functionality, safety, abuse prevention, reporting, moderation, and legal compliance. If an account is finalized for deletion, message body and message media associated with that account may be cleared while conversation records needed for other users, safety, or audit purposes may remain in limited form.
6. Reports, blocking, and moderation
Users may report content, rooms, accounts, or conversations and may block other users. We use reports, blocks, moderation logs, and related records to review safety issues, respond to abuse, enforce our Terms, protect users, and improve platform safety. Some safety, report, and moderation records may be retained even after an account is deleted where needed for security, abuse prevention, audit, legal compliance, or legitimate operational purposes.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host, operate, secure, deliver, or support Elevot. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or Elevot, to investigate abuse or security issues, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect account, session, upload, and user content data. No system is completely secure, and users are responsible for keeping their login information safe and reporting suspected unauthorized access.
9. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Elevot, maintain account and safety features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, and operate backups and security systems. Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, product feature, safety need, legal requirement, and technical constraints.
10. Account deletion
You can request account deletion from the Elevot app through your profile and account settings. If you cannot access the app, you can contact getelevot@gmail.com from the email connected to your account.
When account deletion is requested, the account enters a pending deletion period. During this period, normal app access may be restricted and you may be able to cancel deletion from the app. After the pending period ends, Elevot may finalize deletion by anonymizing account identifiers, disabling login, deleting refresh tokens, device records, upload sessions, social graph records, and notifications, anonymizing profile information, soft-deleting user room photos, and clearing message body/media associated with the deleted account.
Some limited records may be retained where necessary for safety, moderation, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, audit, legal compliance, backups, or legitimate operational needs. Retained records may be anonymized or minimized where appropriate.
11. Your choices
- You can update certain profile and account information in the app.
- You can adjust some visibility and room participation choices through app features.
- You can block users and report content, rooms, accounts, or conversations.
- You can request account deletion through the app or by contacting support.
12. Children
Elevot is not intended for users who are not old enough to use the service under the laws of their country or region. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Elevot without appropriate permission, contact us.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Elevot changes. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, website, or other reasonable means. Continued use of Elevot after an update means the updated Policy applies.
