Delete Your Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Elevot account and what happens after a deletion request.
Request deletion in the app
- Open the Elevot app.
- Go to your profile.
- Open Settings.
- Open Account.
- Choose Request deletion and follow the password confirmation steps.
Request deletion from the web
If you cannot access the app, email us from the email address connected to your Elevot account: getelevot@gmail.com.
What to include in an email request
- Your Elevot username, if you know it.
- The email address connected to your account.
- A short message saying that you want to delete your Elevot account.
- Any extra information that helps us verify account ownership.
Pending deletion period
After deletion is requested, your account may enter a pending deletion period. During this period, normal app access may be restricted. You may be able to cancel deletion from the app before the pending period ends.
What is deleted or anonymized
When deletion is finalized, Elevot may disable login, anonymize account identifiers, anonymize profile information, delete refresh tokens, device records, upload sessions, follows, follow requests, blocks, invitations, access requests, and notifications, soft-delete room photos associated with the account, and clear message body/media associated with the deleted account.
What may be retained
Some limited records may be retained where required for safety, abuse prevention, moderation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups, or legitimate operational needs. These may include limited report, moderation, audit, security, and operational records.
Please include your username, account email, and a short description of the request.
